A bold, adventurous brand and WordPress website position this outdoor adventure company’s whale watching and kayak tours as a premiere west coast experience.
Salt Spring Adventure Co. is an outdoor adventure tour company offering whale watching and kayak tours on Salt Spring Island.
Collaborating with four owners over almost two decades, I designed all of Salt Spring Adventure Co.’s branding, print, and website communications. I began working for Salt Spring Adventure Co. in 2007. In 2015, Founder Sean Mulligan passed the reigns to Yvonne Poirier, who later merged SSA with partner Blair Angus’ whale watching business. In 2021, the business changed hands again to another young woman entrepreneur, Zoe Ward. Newest owners, the Ellis brothers, took up the reigns in 2026.
NOTE: We have since refined the logo twice since 2015 — the following represents work done during 2015-2021.
