Types of Logos
Typography Logo
Based on only a font (sometimes with custom flourishes for added personality), a typography logo is highly adaptable across marketing uses. A wordmark can be used for a concise, distinct name; or a lettermark (initials) can be used for a long business name.
Icon Logo
A simple icon paired with a wordmark begins to build brand recognition of the icon for long-term use and is highly adaptable across marketing uses. The icon can be used on its own or in tandem with the wordmark.
Illustrated Logo
A more complex illustrated logo paired with a wordmark communicates more information about your brand. However, it offers less flexibility across marketing uses, especially at small sizes.
